Community Change Action/Voters Has Conversations with 2,361,219 Swing State Voters by Election Day to Turn Out for Harris
We focused our efforts on hard-to-reach voters who will make the margin of difference this cycle, including middle and working class, Black, Latino, AAPI, women, and young voters
(National) – In the hotly-contested states where the Presidential and Congressional candidates are looking to capture the voters who will make the difference this election, Community Change Action/Voters and our partners have had more than 2.3 million direct conversations with voters, and boasts the largest scale of Harris candidate IDs from an independent expenditure program – making up over 18% of candidate IDs in six swing states.
We focused our efforts on hard-to-reach voters who will make the margin of difference this cycle, including middle and working class, Black, Latino, AAPI, women, and young voters.
With our partners in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, and in key congressional districts, we’ve executed 15,134,316 door knocks, phone calls, mail outreach, and friend and family conversations and 4,642,139 peer-to-peer texts to potential voters. We’ve also placed paid digital ads that reached 33,285,866 voters in hot districts. And our innovative creator program, which works with 83 social influencers that have built community on digital platforms and are trusted messengers to their audiences, have racked up 9,543,566 views and 501,879 engagements on 257 videos over this cycle.
Our voter program has been key to the voter turnout Vice President Kamala Harris and Congressional Democrats will depend on to win this election. Across our states, voter attempts included 4,552,341 Black voters, 3,363,161 Latino voters, and 1,157,194 AAPI voters. We made attempts to reach 8,188,432 women voters, including 2,426,151 Black women and 1,753,867 Latina women. And, we attempted to reach 3,485,526 Gen Z voters, 4,527,300 millennial voters, and 2,998,707 older voters.
“We know that when the voters we target — those who are typically overlooked, ignored, or taken for granted by traditional campaigns — turn out when we connect with them on the issues that matter to their lives. Protecting our rights, economic opportunity, and a care agenda are what’s motivating our communities to the polls,” said Community Change Action National Political Director Grecia Lima. “This historic election will hinge on the turnout of voters who truly reflect our multiracial democracy.”
